General information about me.

My name is Kyle Lai. I was born on March 2, 1985, in a little island called Hong Kong. I came to NYC ten years ago when I was 12 years old. When I first arrived in the United States, I was afraid and pessimistic about my life since I can hardly speak English. Ten years later, I am a college student, attending one of the most highly acknowledge university in the city with a optimistic future of making many of my dreams come true.

Currently, I am a full time student at Baruch College pursuing a bachelor degree in accounting and a minor degree in psychology. This is my fifth year in Baruch College and expected to graduate in spring 2008. One of the reasons I decided to major in accounting is because of my interest in mathematic and the opportunity this field provides. After graduate with my bachelor degree, I anticipate on getting my CPA license and in the near future establishing my own accountant firm.

Other than being a student, I am a banker working in Commerce Bank. I have been working at Commerce for about a year and a half. I started working in Commerce Bank as a teller and soon I was promoted to be a banker. In term of working experience, I started working when I was 16 year old, working at a day care center as a tutor. In addition, I was a medical record clerk at a health clinic and currently, I am a banker.

Even though most of my time has been devoted to school and work, I tried to spare some leisure time for my hobbies. Some of my hobbies included singing karaoke, going to the gym, and cooking. I also enjoy going out to dinners with friends, trying different restaurants around the city.

Furthermore, I would consider myself as an ambitious and aggressive person when it comes to accomplish my task and assignment. Lastly, I consider myself as a considerate person when it comes to my friends and families.
